Andy D: "Why the USA is a superpower" RESPONSE

Dear Editor:

May I suggest that Mr. Grigoriev move off his chair in front of the computer and explore the vast areas of decay outside of Washington D.C. Perhaps he should count the number of people living under bridges in cardboard boxes. There are over 40 million Americans living in poverty including many wives of men in the military. Has he visited them?  Millions have no medical insurance and many die because they don't have enough. Has he investigated the health care system? Yes, America is a super power but a dying one. Corruption and dishonesty are eating away at America's heart and soul.
