Jack Nicholson retires over memory problems

The 76-year-old actor has reportedly retired from acting due to memory loss. The information has not been confirmed yet, but issues with memory are said to be the main reason behind Mr. Nicholson's decision to leave the world of cinema. Nicholson has twice won the Academy Award for Best Actor, for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and for As Good as It Gets. Nicholson was one of only two actors to be nominated for an Academy Award for acting in every decade from the 1960s to 2000s All photos: Splash/All Over Press
