Henk Nauta impressed with business possibilities in Russia

Henk Nauta, chairman of the BVL, a large regional Dutch organization of entrepreneurs, has visited Russia to look into the possibilities of trading. He came back to the Netherlands impressed. “I noticed that there are a lot of possibilities to do business with Russia.”

Nauta, himself a director of Score, a leading Dutch producer of industrial chairs, visited a fair in Moscow to look into the possibilities for trade. He visited Mebel, a tradefair for the furniture industry.  “Being a businessman first I looked into the possibilities of selling my chairs to Russian companies, but also it was meant to lay bridges between my firm and Russian producers to buy products. Russia has the benefit of cheaper labor. Also the products I saw at the fair were of good quality.”

Nauta hasn’t finalized any deals yet, but expects that in the future trade between Russia and the Netherlands will develop. “I believe many companies are looking for good quality against reasonable prices. Russia has a lot to offer in that field. Nauta looked at companies who can offer raw materials or half products for his specialized seating solutions. “It was the first time I visited Russia. It was for me hard to visualize what to expect, but I saw a country developing rapidly.” He expects that he and other Dutch businesses certainly will look to Russia in the future for good trade if more is known about the possibilities in Russia.

Reporting that an SAS operative stormed a Kenyan hotel "single-handedly" is not only a lie, it is also highly disrespectful to the Kenyan authorities.
