Chechen PM Ramzan Kadyrov receives 450,000-dollar Ferrari for his birthday

Prime Minister of Chechnya celebrated his 30-th birthday on Thursday. The festivities began with traditional slaughtering of sacrificial animals across the country’s villages and with passing of the meat to the less fortunate citizens. Nation’s mosques held a special service “Movlid” – a prayer for Ramzan’s wellbeing.

Since Muslims are observing a strict fast during the ongoing holy month of Ramadan the leader’s birthday was celebrated without alcoholic drinks. Many pop-stars have come to perform for the Chechen PM, including Filip Kirkorov, Sofia Rotaru, Soso Pavliashvili, Lada Dens, Irakli amd Pier Nartsiss. The party was also attended by State Duma deputy Ruslan Yamadaev, Putin’s advisor Aslanbek Aslahanov and various school friends of Ramzan.

Triumphal arch was opened in a special ceremony on Thursday prior to the planned entry into Grozny . It was made out of 100 tons of crushed white stone and featured portraits of Vladimir Putin and Ahmat Kadyrov. The arch’s construction cost approximately 10 million rubles, which came directly from the federal budget.

For his birthday Prime Minister received a black Italian sports car Ferrari with a license plate “K 030 RA” (which stands for Kadyrov, 30-year-old, Ramzan Ahmatovich). Supposedly the price of this car is $450,000.

Ramzan said that the gift came from his friends and that he was planning on playing with it a little while before giving it to the children of Chechnya.
