"Raising of Kursk nuclear submarine" exhibition opens in St.Petersburg on Tuesday - 8 October, 2002

The exhibition "The Raising of the Kursk Nuclear Submarine. A Special Expedition", devoted to the anniversary of the operation to raise the lost submarine, opened at the Bosse mansion in St. Petersburg on Tuesday, October 8th, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

For the first ever time one can see at the exposition more than 200 photographs and part of unique video materials showing the divers' work, the chronicle of the raising of the submarine, and the video record of what those who came on board the Kursk saw after the submarine was brought to the dock. Furthermore, objects from the lost ship were brought specially for the exhibition.

The exhibition will be opened till October 13th.
