Russian Choreographer Organizes Europe's Most Prestigious Concert

The show becomes the attraction for 1.5 billion TV viewers in Europe, Asia and America
Famous choreographer, the art director of St.Petersburg Modern Ballet Theatre Boris Eifman was for the second time invited to organize Europe's most prestigious festival, the Vienna New Year Concert. Boris Eifman will spend the rest of the year in Austria.

The famous choreographer told ITAR-TASS that the Vienna grand show is traditionally broadcast on January 1 within the several past decades. The show becomes the attraction for 1.5 billion TV viewers in Europe, Asia and America. Boris Eifman considers it an honor to take part in organization of the concert.

Last year, the singers and corps de ballet of Mariinsky Theatre took part in the gala performance; this time, Boris Eifman says the Vienna Opera and Ricardo Muti will be the key participants of the event. The choreographer says Vienna will see the New Year in with the music by Johann Strauss that, as they believe, spreads strong positive energy and makes them optimistic for a year.
