Russia’s Julia Yalovitsyna fails to win world’s best job over her explicit videos

Julia Yalovitsyna, one of the front-runners of the World’s Best Job contest, a resident of the Russian city of Petrozavodsk, was scratched from the list of applicants to win the job of the caretaker of Hamilton Island, in the Great Barrier Reef.

The message posted on the official website of the contest said that the head of Tourism Queensland, Anthony Hayes, said that the company had become aware of Julia’s the inappropriate video, which was available for viewing on the Internet.

"Tourism Queensland has decided to exclude Julia from the selection process under the terms and conditions of the job,” he was quoted by the Brisbane Times as saying.

Pravda.ru previously reported that Julia and her husband were found involved in porn business. Russian news agencies reported that Yalovitsyna appeared in a number of adult movies and did nude modeling for a porn studio. However, the ‘best job’ contestant vehemently denied all accusations.

The contest for the best job in the world, which is held by Tourism Queensland and the government of Australia’s Queensland, attracted more than 34,000 applicants. The winner will be paid $9,000 a month. The caretaker of the Great Barrier Reef island will be provided with free plane tickets and a free accommodation in a house with a pool and a golf court.
