Dakar Argentina: Kamaz in front!


The Russian Kamaz team won the 6th stage and leads in the overall ranking in trucks. Chagin, Nikolaev and Savostin won the sixth stage today, winning with compatriots Kabirov, Belyaev and Mokeev, but they are first in the general classification.


The sixth stage of the Dakar Rally between Argentina and San Rafael Mendoza (special 395 km) in the truck ended with the victory of Russian Kamaz in 1st, 2nd and 4th place. Chagin, Nikolaev and Savostin completed the race in 24:45:36, while Kabirov, Belyaev and Mokeev finished in 24:55:08. In third place was the Rooy, van Melis (NLD) and Colsoul (BEL) in Ginaf and fourth place was the team of two Russians, Mardeev and Mizyukaev. All teams were competing in Russian Kamaz trucks.


Overall, the Kabirov team leads, with Chagin second, Rooy in third and Mardeev in fourth.
