Is Third World War possible?

The world situation is heating up. Local wars break out in various parts of the globe. Western partners and their allies see Russia as a threat. USA's new military strategy calls Russia a revisionist state that does not respect the sovereignty of its neighbors. In Russia, many speak of America's participation in every conflict - from Ukraine to the Middle East. Information warfare is in full swing. Can it evolve into real war, when soldiers take reporters' place?

Vadim Fersovich, independent military expert

"No one is ready for it, and no one wants to conduct combat action against the Russian army. Firstly, there is no reason for this. All that we see today is all about political games in the interests of certain economic groups that need to keep their  businesses running. A cold war is about the economic development of some corporations to the detriment of other corporations. No one will go to war - mankind is not capable of conducting another large-scale war at all.

All the techniques that have been used so far are all about a proxy war as we can see it in Ukraine and in other places. They are trying to destabilize situation in this or that country through somebody else's hands."
