Hungary to fight against Europe’s sovietization

The Hungarian PM Viktor Orban claimed that the EU officials tried to undermine independent state of European countries. On 23 October the 60th anniversary of revolt against the government of the Hungarian People's Republic and its Soviet-imposed policies was celebrated in Budapest while Orban called to save Europe from 'sovietization', hinting at Brussels' attempts to undermine independent state of European countries. Head of the Republic stated that 'people who love their freedom must save Brussels from sovietization, from those who want to tell us who we should live with in our own countries". The PM explained that he took sovietization as attempts of the EU officials to impose multicultural values and called to defend borders from migrants' influx. Beside that, Viktor Orban stood for sovereignty maintenance of the EU member-states as well as for christian traditions.
