ISIS attacks Russian Guards in Chechnya


A group of 8 fighters who had sworn allegiance to ISIS, attacked overnight the Russian Guards military unit in the Chechen village of Naurskaya. There are dead and wounded among the military men.

As a source in the Republican law-enforcement bodies revealed, there were eight terrorists, six of them were annihilated at once, two have escaped. The Interception plan has been launched.

Fighting took place from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. near the checkpoint. Bandits were armed with guns, fake explosive belts were detected on two bodies. The full combat readiness regime was imposed in the territory of the military unit.

The terrorists most probable intended to seize heavy armament, including armoured vehicles and annihilate military men.
