Whose dollars fund Syrian war?. 50487.jpeg

A civil war has been ongoing in Syria for nearly nearly two years. The government forces of President Bashar al-Assad are opposed by well-trained and armed rebels. Everyone understands that military operations require money, and lots of it. Who is the main sponsor of the Syrian terrorists, who and why needs this war?

The Russian Foreign Ministry was angered by the statement of Saud al-Faisal, head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia who accused the Russian Federation of the unlimited military support of the killings in Syria. According to him, there is "a never-ending flow of weapons and money" to Syria from Russia that promotes the "genocide of the Syrian people." He also called on Moscow to stop the feverish arming of the Assad regime.

The official response of the Russian side was prompt and not as impulsive. The Russian Foreign Ministry suggested that Saud al-Faisal's statement intended in the first place to present in proper light the relevant results of his talks with John Kerry, the U.S. Secretary of State. "However, the U.S. and Russia want to find a common solution that would stop the bloody and destructive conflict in Syria, so the Saudi effort was not successful," summed up the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"We're not going to make excuses; everyone knows our position on the Syrian crisis. From the very beginning Russia has been making all possible efforts for an early end to violence in the country and a peaceful political settlement of the process," said the Ministry. "Our approach is radically different from the approaches of some regional forces that want to fulfill their own geopolitical ambitions at the expense of the suffering of the Syrian people. In some large cities, some countries do not shy away from financing and arming extremist groups and international terrorists. Such dangerous actions should be stopped to give the Syrians an opportunity to determine their own future. This is what the heads of the U.S. and Russian diplomatic offices called for on May 7th in Moscow. "

What kind of forces in the region is Russia referring to? First of all, it is Saudi Arabia and Qatar that have been financing the activities of militants from the beginning of the campaign.

Last year Qatar and Saudi Arabia have agreed to co-finance the rebels in Syria. The Times wrote about it referring to the statement of a prominent opponent of Bashar al-Assad. He said that the Syrian opposition held numerous personal meetings with the representatives of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, during which they discussed possible options of helping the terrorists. The Saudis have promised to provide any help they could.

The opposition mainly asked for weapons and ammunition. That is why the Syrian rebels are calling on the international community to establish "buffer zones" in some regions of Syria that would be controlled by foreigners. Weapons could be supplied in these zones, and then they would be distributed throughout the country.

In addition to Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Turkey is also interested in the destabilization of the situation in Syria. According to the source of The Times, he personally saw Turkish plans to establish such zones in the north of Syria. In addition, Turkey is considering more active intervention in Syria. We are talking about the bombing of airfields and military bases in Syria.

The Syrian authorities have refused to give up the power in the country as demanded by the League of Arab States. After that, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and several other Persian Gulf monarchies left the Arab League observer mission, saying they would seek a settlement of the Syrian crisis by other methods. This is why they are financing the insurgents, consistently and through various means.

Saudi Arabia and Qatar are helping the so-called Free Syrian Army with money. They do so based on the agreement signed on April 2nd by Colonel Riad al-Asaad, commander of the army. These are the payments designed to "encourage desertion from the army of the Assad government." It should be noted that this policy is yielding results. The number of deserters is growing. Payments are made in euros or dollars. This is important because after the unrest the Syrian pound has greatly lost in value.

The delivery of weapons is likely to be financed by Saudi Arabia, along with other emirates. Israeli-made weapons are used to neutralize the Syrian tanks, which suggests that Jerusalem has changed the policy of non-interference.

On May 31st two Kuwaiti organizations confirmed funding of the Syrian rebels. None of these firms are registered with the Ministry of Socialist Labor, indicating the illegality of the contributions. However, as stated by the co-founder of the organization, for over two years of work he has never had any problems with the government. Local TV broadcasts numerous commercials of companies that openly call for the financial support of the Syrian opposition. None of the leaders were prosecuted. What does this mean? Only that the Kuwaiti authorities support the Syrian terrorists.

The question arises - why would these countries finance the rebels? The answer is obvious. The Assad regime is not beneficial to anyone, it has to be removed by any means and resources to divide Syria. In addition, Turkey and Saudi Arabia have always wanted to become key players in the region. With a strong Syria this would not work. But it should be remembered that behind all these players there is a more influential figure, a country that seeks to conquer the entire world. Of course, we are talking about the United States, the main sponsor of the Syrian rebels.

The CIA has been repeatedly smuggling weapons to the Syrian rebels. This operation is part of a secret plan approved personally by Barack Obama. In Jordan, secret U.S. warehouses are located from which weapons are sent off to their destination. Then they are distributed to small groups of Syrian rebels, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The CIA placed advisers in southern Turkey who make decisions on which group of rebels is given weapons. The United States also supplies the rebels with communication devices that allow avoiding tracking by the Syrian security services. Saudi Arabia always coordinates its activities with the United States.

Referring to anonymous government and diplomatic sources, the newspaper reported that the weapons supplies were made to enable coordinated attacks of the rebels at the government troops in early August.

The CIA would take three weeks to deliver light weapons and anti-tank missiles to Jordan. Intelligence experts will then train the Syrian soldiers to handle these weapons. The United States is also are in talks with France on the placement of its weapons in Jordan. Saudi Arabia will give MANPADS (man-portable air-defense systems) to a small group of specially selected militants.

Starting August, hundreds of armed fighters will continuously penetrate Syria under this program. The U.S. and Saudi officials believe that in 4-5 months a sufficient number of trained and re-equipped soldiers will be concentrated in Syria to resist the forces of Assad.

The U.S. is acting in Syria according to the ancient rule that a Roman senator once came up with - divide and conquer! In its desire to achieve the world domination, the United States is finding people willing to plunge the country into chaos and generously fund them. It all starts with rallies and demonstrations and ends with the civil war and bloodshed. In the midst of chaos the inconvenient government is overthrown, and the government loyal to the United States is installed. Syria simply became the latest victim of the brutal U.S. game, however, a very resistant one.
