The forecasted growth in oil reserves of the C1 and C2 categories will amount to 400m tons and some 380m tons of the C3 category in Russia in 2003; gas reserves are expected to advance by 900bn cubic meters, Rinat Murzin, the head of the fuel and energy reserves department of the Russian Natural Resources Ministry, declared at a meeting in the ministry.
