All works in the third compartment of the Kursk nuclear submarine have been postponed because of an emergency dangerous for investigators. According to the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Northern Fleet, the compartment is currently being prepared for further examination. The clearing out of debris is currently underway in the Kursk's second compartment. According to a spokesman for the Military Prosecutor's Office, two more bodies of the submarine's crewmen were found in the second compartment in the late hours of Thursday. Investigators do not rule out that both the second and third compartments can still contain sailors' bodies. Thus, 78 out of 118 crewmen have already been found (12 bodies were retrieved from the submarine last year.) Fifty-nine submariners have been identified. According to the Prosecutor's Office of the Northern Fleet, no documents or records have been found inside the submarine over the past week.
