The Road Map Plan, aimed to settle the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, will be presented to the sides in the immediate future, Israel's 7 Channel radio station cited Sean McCormack of the US presidential administration as saying.
According to the radio station's information, the plan has a chance to be made public on Wednesday or Thursday, despite last night's terrorist act, which killed 4 and wounded 50 people by the entrance to a cafe in downtown Tel Aviv.
"Suicide bombers are aiming not just to kill innocent people, but also to destroy Palestine's hopes of creating a sovereign, free and democratic state," commented McCormack.
The Road Map Plan was worked out by the so-called Mideastern Quartet, which unites representatives of the USA, Russia, the United Nations, and the European Union, and envisages step-by-step cessation of the Israeli-Palestinian confrontation and creation of an independent Palestinian state.
It was reported in the recent weeks that the authors of the project link the launching of the plan with the forming of a new Palestinian government headed by Abu Mazen.
On Tuesday, the new government idea was supported by the majority of deputies of the Palestinian Legislative Assembly. The aforementioned terrorist act took place only a few hours later, and was interpreted by observers as an attempt on the part of radical Palestinian organizations to show Abu Mazen and the whole world that they were not going to follow his appeals and stop terror against the Israelis.
Some observers believe there may be more terrorist acts in Israel in the next few days.
