In Blagoveshchensk, Russia's Far East, a Chinese man tried to hijack a Russian hovership, a source in the headquarters of the Blagoveshchensk Border Detachment told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
The incident occurred at a hovership berth near the Blagoveshchensk-Heihe border checkpoint. "The man had made his way into one of the vessels and tried to start the engine but was promptly seized by border guards," said the source.
Law enforcers have launched an investigation. The hijacker was identified as a Chinese national residing in Russia since 2000.
The remarks from the Pope came as "a very strong step towards degradation," "given the rather massive nature of homosexuality" among the Catholic clergy.
