The Russian government is to allocate some 7.5bn rubles ($238m) for the reconstruction of Chechnya this year, State Construction Committee head Nikolay Koshman declared today.
Koshman noted that at a meeting in Grozny on March 15-16 contractors for conducting reconstruction activities would be selected. He said that in the town of Grozny the water supply, heating and electricity networks were to be restored. Simultaneously municipal and private houses will be rebuilt. Special attention will be paid to the reconstruction of hospitals, schools and other social and cultural facilities, he added.
After it turned out that Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov included the Fonbet betting company in the list of backbone enterprises that can count on state support, everyone started talking about these bookmakers.
