Russian President Vladimir Putin has said the country's top are striving to provide for a favourable business environment. As addressing a Kremlin meeting with businessmen, members of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the president touched on the problem of integration into the world economy. "The Russian leadership spare no effort to provide a favourable environment for the Russian economy, for you," assured the head of state. The current developments in the world markets cannot be ignored, the president said adding that he would not like to dwell on the problem of oil prices at the moment. "Government meets what happens in the global business community with an adequate reaction," said President Putin.
The remarks from the Pope came as "a very strong step towards degradation," "given the rather massive nature of homosexuality" among the Catholic clergy.
