Russia has completed the destruction of its third class chemical weapons, Sergei Kiriyenko, the Russian president's envoy to the Volga Federal District, told reporters following a meeting of the state commission for chemical disarmament. Chemical weapons, third class, are powder charges, he said. "Russia's chemical weapons are now just containers with poisonous substance," said Kiriyenko. He said it was crucial as far as safe storage of chemical weapons and fulfilment of Russia's related international commitments go.
The remarks from the Pope came as "a very strong step towards degradation," "given the rather massive nature of homosexuality" among the Catholic clergy.
