The Union of Right Forces (SPS) faction may support a bill on political parties on the first reading on condition that a clause on the budget financing of parties is not included in the document, stated leader of the faction Boris Nemtsov. According to him, the SPS is against budget financing of political parties because it might allow the government to have a certain pressure on them, RBC announces. The financing of the budget is unlikely to guarantee the openness of the party's budget. At the same time, 26 kopecks per vote received by the party do not seem enough. That is why parties will have to attract other funds for financing, Nemtsov stressed. Nemtsov supports such clauses of the bill like the necessary number of members (10,000), the existence of registered branches in half of the regions of the Russian Federation and the presence of 100 members of a party in each Russian region.
