The exact cause of death of Ivan Kivelidi, a Russian businessman who headed The Round Table of Russia’s Business, has been established. This sensational news has been made public by Aleksandr Kaledin, director of the Ministry of Justice’s forensic research centre. Mr. Kivelidi was apparently hit at his office and died on August 4th, 1995 in hospital. His secretary died two days earlier while a forensic expert, who examined Mr. Kivelidi’s body, died a month and a half later. Mr. Kivelidi’s death was caused by a “very rare sort of chemical substance which is kept top secret,” Mr. Kaledin is quoted as saying. According to some sources, it may have been of a combat chemical agent or a poison prepared on its basis.
