In the beginning of June Minsk will host a PACE seminar devoted to the issues of democracy in Belarus. As the press service of the Lower House of the Belorussian National Assembly informed, the session would convene on PACE's initiative, though it was Belarus that at the last PACE session in Strasburg suggested that the session be held in Minsk, rather than in Vilnius. As a Rosbalt correspondent has learnt, the participating parliamentarians will also talk about the current economic and political situation in Belarus. Their observations will later be compiled in a special report to be presented to the Parliamentary Assembly.
After it turned out that Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov included the Fonbet betting company in the list of backbone enterprises that can count on state support, everyone started talking about these bookmakers.
