A little bit less than a month is left before the world football championship in Japan and Korea. The teams are entering the final stages of their training, and the coaches sometimes think up of unusual ways to prepare their players for the world championship the best they can.
One of the latest examples is the Brazilian team, which is the traditional favorite for the world championship, but the Argentinean team is far ahead of Brazil this time, and experts believe that Argentina will be the first candidate to become the champion.
Luiz Felipe Scolari, the head coach of the Brazilian national football team, stated that he knew how to concentrate the spirit and energy of Pele’s successors. Therefore, Brazilian football players will not be allowed to have sex at all in June, during the final part of the championship. As the coach said, no one will die if they go through a month without sex. Scolari added that they do have some guys that are too much concerned with sex, but, anyhow, he is sure that the players will survive the test, because “they are all people not stupid animals.”
This experience is not unique in Brazil. Head coach Feola led his team to win the gold in 1958 in Sweden, and Pele remembered that there was a little trick for such a result. Feola made his players go jogging along a nude beach, which was situated on the shores of a small lake. Pele said that the players were very willing to do that, they were running around, looking at those naked women and were not thinking about their fatigue. The players were jogging properly, and they did not cut their tracks short. They were working the best they could and were happy about it, and that was exactly what Feola needed.
In addition, the Brazilians are very likely to become the first rivals of the Russian team during the playoffs of the coming championship. If the Russian team goes to the next stage of the championship, then Russia will have to play against the Brazilians. Russia has an experienced team, but the players are not young, and their energy is not as it used to be, so the Brazilians might have a good advantage, taking into account their coach’s initiative.
