Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov will pay a routine visit to Pakistan on June 15, Aleksandr Yakovenko, an official Russian foreign ministry spokesman, has told a press conference at the Novosti news agency.
To dominate Mr Ivanov's visit agenda are issues of bilateral co-operation and international problems of current importance, said the diplomat.
On June 16, Mr Ivanov will go further on to India. While in India, the Russian minister is expected to discuss efforts against international terrorism and to ensure global stability and security, as well as bilateral co-operation issues. Mr Yakovenko said while discussing a set of issues pertaining to bilateral co-operation, the sides would make an emphasis on economic contacts.
Then, the minister is scheduled to arrive in Pnom-Penh for the tenth jubilee meeting of the Association of South-East Asian Nations, ASEAN, due on June 17th through 19th.
