Gazprom regards ConocoPhillips as its partner in supplying liquefied natural gas from the Shtokman field in the Barents Sea, Gazprom Deputy CEO Yury Komarov reported at a briefing today. According to him, the US company proposed an original and feasible project. Komarov reiterated that, according to the results of the recent meeting of the Gazprom Executive Board, supplies of liquefied gas to the USA might be done by sea. The company is also planning to supply liquefied gas to countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
