American broadband and telecommunications company Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) has won a “provider” contract launched by the Department of Homeland Security.
The $670 million contract will allow Verizon to provide IP and security services over 10 years.
Verizon will create a common IP network for 22 agencies that are part of the department.
The company will also provide the department with emergency communications services.
The secondary network service provider in the Eastern and Western region was named AT&T Government Solutions.
After it turned out that Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov included the Fonbet betting company in the list of backbone enterprises that can count on state support, everyone started talking about these bookmakers.
