Russian singer Grigory Leps will not adjust the tour schedule due to charges from the U.S. Treasury of his ties with international criminal organization Brothers' Circle.
The singer is not planning any performances outside Russia. It was reported that the daughter of Gregory Leps studies abroad, in the United States, where she may have problems in connection with the charges against her father. The singer's publicist, Maya Serikova, refused to comment the situation.
Russian Foreign Ministry intervened in the situation with Leps. Officials with the ministry said that the situation was unacceptable. They urged their US counterparts not to label anyone in violation of principles of the presumption of innocence.
Russia has been deprived of the right to hold international competitions and apply for them for four years
