An automated system, named State Population Register, is being developed in Russia, the system's developers from the Ministry on Communications and Information Technology and the Voskhod Research Institute told a press conference Friday. The State Population Register will contain information on Russian and foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently living in the country. The developers said the system will rid Russians of the tiresome process of collecting various kinds of certificates at state institutions. It provides for the creation of a unified database for use by law enforcement, medical and other official bodies.
After it turned out that Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov included the Fonbet betting company in the list of backbone enterprises that can count on state support, everyone started talking about these bookmakers.
