The 3rd international fair of intellectual non-fiction literature has opened in the Central House of Artists in Moscow. The fair, which will last until December 2, has been organised by the company Expo-Park. Exhibition Projects. The main aim of the fair is to bring together all fans of intellectual literature, professional publishers, critics and library attendants, as well as to structure Russia's book market. Books at the fair are being shown by more than a hundred publishers from Russia, Germany, France, Britain, Sweden, Poland and Iran. In addition to artistic editions of sci fic, religious, fiction, and educational literature, one can see geographic maps, and high-quality newspapers and magazines. For the first time the non-fiction fair is showing multimedia projects on discs. Non-commercial companion events of the fair will be a "Books Build Bridges" exhibition /organised by the Swedish embassy/, and presentations of the "Man of the Book" and "Minor Booker" awards /for the best fiction translation from the English language/, and Wachsmacher and Leroi-Beaulier prizes from the France embassy.
