During his visit to Bishkek, Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin will discuss bilateral relations with the leadership of Kirghizia. The visit begins on Thursday, a RIA Novosti correspondent was told at the press service of the Kirghiz Foreign Ministry.
On Thursday, Voronin will meet the president of Kirghizia, Askar Akayev. They are expected to exchange opinions on matters of international life, consider the state and prospects of further development of the Kirghiz-Moldovan relations. A series of bilateral documents are expected to be signed to sum up the negotiations.
On the same day, the Moldovan leader will hold negotiations with the prime minister of Kirghizia, Nikolai Tanaev, and appear before the faculty and cadets of the Kirghiz Interior Ministry Academy. At night he will lay flowers to the Erkindik (Freedom) and Lenin monuments in the center of Bishkek.
On Friday, Voronin plans to meet the speakers of both chambers of the Kirghiz parliament, visit the museum of Mikhail Frunze (1885-1925), a Moldavian by birth and a prominent military leader of the times of the 1917 October Revolution and the Civil War in Russia. Voronin will also inspect a winery in Bishkek and talk to Kirghiz businessmen.
Kirghizia and Moldova concluded 25 different joint documents at the interstate, intergovernmental and interdepartmental levels.
Late on November 8th, Vladimir Voronin will end his Kirghiz visit and go back home.
