Former CIA Director Michael Morell urged to kill Russians and Iranians during an interview on CBS News. This could be a way to solve the crisis in Syria, Morell believes.
"When we were in Iraq, the Iranians were giving weapons to the Shia militias, who were killing American soldiers. They were making us pay a price. We need to make the Iranians pay a price in Syria, we need the Russians pay a price." The TV host interfered in an attempt to clarify the statement and said: "Make them pay a price by killing the Russians and killing the Iranians?" Morell said "yes" to both, adding "covertly." "You don't stand up at the Pentagon and say 'we did this,' but you make sure they know it in Moscow and Tehran," Morell added.
Morell also said that he wanted to bomb President Assad's helicopters, aircraft and offices in the middle of the night. According to him, such measures should help the USA achieve a diplomatic solution in Syria.
