The problem of further actions on Iraq will be solved in several weeks, not months, US President George Bush said, following the meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair in the White House, Washington.
Saddam Hussein tries to deceive the entire world, and Washington intends to prove that the Iraqi leader threatens the world, Bush stressed. According to him, US Secretary of State Colin Powell will introduce new evidence of Iraq's non-cooperation with the UN inspectors to the UN Security Council.
The US President said he would welcome another resolution of the UN Security Council, if it reminded Baghdad of the world community's determination to achieve Iraq's disarmament.
Resolution 1441 of the UN Security Council gives the USA the right to act without any second resolution, Bush added.
According to Tony Blair, Saddam Hussein doesn't cooperate with inspectors and violates UN resolutions, therefore, his time is running out.
The remarks from the Pope came as "a very strong step towards degradation," "given the rather massive nature of homosexuality" among the Catholic clergy.
