Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Walter Schwimmer and Head of the Chechen administration Akhmad Kadyrov discussed the social and economic revival in Chechnya. Kadyrov is participating in the meeting of the working group of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the State Duma on the Chechen political settlement. Akhmad Kadyrov informed Schwimmer about the administrative measures on the regional economic revival and pointed out its considerable increase, the headquarters of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg said. According to him, new jobs are being created in the republic and the number of home-coming refugees is increasing. Walter Schwimmer reminded Kadyrov that the Council of Europe was keeping a watchful eye on the work of the Chechen Military Prosecutor's Office on conducting cases against civilians submitted by the experts of the bureau of Vladimir Kalamanov, the Russian President's Special Envoy for Human Rights in Chechnya.
