Sources in the Pakistani Embassy in Moscow ruled out the possibility of a meeting between Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf and Afghanistan's Burhanuddin Rabbani anytime soon. "There is no information of any such meeting taking place anytime soon," Embassy spokesman Gholam Bajwa told RIA Novosti Monday. He said the summit will not even be an option until after the UN-sponsored Afghanistan peace conference in Bonn, Germany. The event is to kick off tomorrow. Bajwa reaffirmed the Pakistani government's stance that Afghanistan's future government would have to be multi-ethnic.
