The coming session and decisions to be made at it, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted, will have peculiar significance as regards prospects for the activity of the OSCE as a major all-European mechanism of cooperation between Euro-Atlantic states. "In the brand-new international environment, with the world community facing a direct challenge from international terrorism, there is a difficult task of working out collective responses by the civilized society to this and other threats to global and regional stability," the ministry stressed.
