Carla del Ponte, top prosecutor of the international tribunal for former Yugoslavia, offered a third indictment of Slobodan Milosevic, once Yugoslavia's federal President, November 12. Richard May, 3rd tribunal chamber president, approved the indictment of 29 clauses today. Milosevic is accused of crimes perpetrated in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1992 into 1995--of genocide and complicity in genocide, which are the worst charges the tribunal can offer. There are charges of crimes against humanity, blatant violation of the 1949 Geneva conventions, and trespassing the laws and customs of warfare.
