On Friday, May 30, His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent, who is a patron of the aid fund to children who received burns during fires, visited Moscow Clinical Hospital No. 9 together with other participants of the motor rally dedicated to the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg.
Prince Michael of Kent made presents to the children in the burn treatment department of this hospital. However, he paid special attention to the boy, Abdullah Suleimanov, who received burns during the fire in the boarding school for deaf-and-dumb children in Makhachkala, the capital of the Republic of Daghestan.
The chief doctor of the hospital, Pyotr Pradeus, said in the interview he gave to RIA Novosti that it was not for the first time that Prince Michael of Kent visited this hospital. "For us, he is not already a guest, but a friend," said Prodeus.
According to the chief doctor, the aim of the visit to the Moscow hospital by Prince Michael of Kent and his friends is to interest "rich people in rendering assistance to our hospital."
The remarks from the Pope came as "a very strong step towards degradation," "given the rather massive nature of homosexuality" among the Catholic clergy.
