Destiny's Child is lovin' it to work with McDonald's

McDonald's Corp. on Wednesday named female pop trio Destiny's Child as the new face of its "I'm Lovin' It" marketing campaign in a bid to expand its appeal among children and, importantly, their moms.

"We believe this appeals to kids, and when &to=http:// ' target=_blank>kids are happy Mom is happy," Larry Light, the hamburger chain's global chief marketing officer, said in an interview following a press conference to announce the endorsement, informs Reuters.

According to the MSNBC News, the &to=http:// ' target=_blank>fast-food company announced Wednesday that the R&B group will play an integral role in its "I’m lovin’ it" ad campaign, which kicked off last year with Justin Timberlake in a starring role.
