Robbie Williams has canceled the Asian leg of his world tour.
The pop star called off gigs in Shanghai, China; Hong Kong; Bangkok, Thailand; Singapore; and Mumbai and Bangalore, India, which were due to take place Nov. 4-26.
Currently, Williams, 32, is midway through his "Close Encounters" tour.
A spokesman for the star told the British Broadcasting Corp. that honoring the dates "would be asking too much."
A statement to the promoters said it had become clear "that the stress and exhaustion of the Asian tour, coming so shortly after the end of the European and South American dates, would seriously impact his health," according to the Shanghai Daily.
"Throughout the summer, Robbie Williams has performed in more than 40 shows around the world to more than 3 million people," the statement said.
On Friday night, Williams was performing the second of five dates at the Milton Keynes Bowl north of London, informs AP.
His European tour kicked off in Dublin, Ireland, in June, and next month moves to South America before finishing in Australia in December.
