Another terrorist attacks has rocked Turkey on January 12. This time the explosion occurred in the historical part of Istanbul. At least ten people were killed in the attack, 15 were injured. According to media reports, it was a suicide bomber who conducted the attack.
Most of the victims were tourists. Nine of them were tourists from Germany. Fragments of human bodies were seen scattered near the site of the explosion.
Anadolu news agency said that Turkish authorities barred the publication of any information about the explosion in the heart of Istanbul. All mass media outlets of Turkey were promptly informed about the decision.
